OUR ACTIVE FUNDERS

SUPPORTING REFUGEES

It is hard to imagine the challenges of people who have been displaced from countries with some of the world’s most brutal conflicts, only to end up in Uganda which is one of the poorest nations but hosting over one million refugees across the country and still counting; Among these is a marginalized group of refugees living with disabilities like autism, cerebral palsy and learning disabilities. At Keynes Disability Association, this is one of our key focus groups; we leverage on our experience and expertise in the area of disabilities to aid and inform intervention agencies and partners of the  unique disability needs in refugee settlement areas.
